Fighting off stiff competition from Cisco, Salesforce and Google with our campaign for Avnet, we are delighted to announce that we won the award for “Best Channel Marketing Initiative” at the prestigious B2B Marketing Awards.
On Thursday 20th November, at the HAC in London, more than 800 marketing professionals from some of the world’s biggest brands and most prolific agencies, gathered for the years’ biggest award ceremony in B2B Marketing.
From 28 categories covering everything from “Best use of DM” to “Most Commercially Successful Campaign”, there was only one category dedicated to the Channel. And we won it!
Our winning campaign: Avnet Connect
We were asked to come up with a way of increasing multi-vendor purchases, across partners within a specific business unit for Avnet.
With several huge vendors in one business unit, we had to consolidate the message effectively enough to drive partner awareness and ultimately transactional value.
We created a co-ordinated campaign across new and traditional media, including a video mini-series, a fully-responsive digital partner magazine, emails, telemarketing, landing page, DM and pull up banners.
This campaign returned more than 10x original investment in financial ROI in just three months, and impressively converted 37% of the audience into new sales. We were happy, Avnet were delighted and purechannels won the award for “Best Channel Marketing Initiative” at the biggest B2B Marketing awards of the year. A great result all round!
